Short Breaks is a term used to describe social/leisure daytime activities for children and young people with, Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). They enable children with disabilities to participate in social/leisure activities and can provide a respite for their parents/carers.
In 2019, Voice4Parents were part of the Wolverhampton Short Breaks Review in which several recommendations were made that are still to be actioned. V4P are currently a member of a task and finish group to ensure that the recommendations are upheld and carried out alongside providing a more accessible offer for families.
